I know this because Pick-A-Kid isn't the first thing, that I've tried to start and nothing has succeeded like this! I enjoy helping people, leading people, and most of all loving people! This vision had turned into a great reality, and I owe it all to Jesus Christ, my team, and all of the people that support me!"
Jarrod Anderson serves as the Vice President of Pick-A-Kid; he assumes all the roles of Smith in his absence. Anderson is a 2012 graduate of Vinton High and a resident of the town of Vinton. When Anderson was questioned about why he chose to be apart of Pick-A-Kid he said, "I love kids, I love to do God's work and I've witnessed so many people not have an opportunity for a bright future because of a lack of material things! Sometimes the kids have everything they need to be success except these basic materials, so this organization was perfect!"

I really like to see people laughing, so if you mix that with a group that gives people things that they can't always get for themselves, then my job changes from making people laugh to bringing them joy!"
